Encourage Vintage began as a love letter to the past - to the traditions of the women who crafted beauty by hand and left us a legacy of art to pass on to one another. I began by collecting vintage many years ago and in an effort to preserve it I began to learn how to mend, rework and renew all these things to be cherished for new homes.

It has evolved into a deep passion for that heritage - to create beautiful objects that are meant to be gifted, shared and passed on to those we love. My mission is to use already existing materials whenever possible, and my love for my childhood close to the ocean informs everything my hands touch.
